I went to see Star Trek and was surprised. I wasn't even going to go but I got dragged along for the hell of it. I went in with such low expectations but what a surprise. I am hugely critical of movies but it was a really good movie. I don't know if I can compare it to First Contact or anything, but still pretty awesome.
The casting was really good. Nice to know that people can still make a decent movie nowadays, even if it is rare. Now lets just hope the new Transformers movie rules.
